You should only accept an invitation into THE SACRED ORDER if you agree to abide by the rules below. By joining THE SACRED ORDER, you agree to follow these rules and understand that you will be asked to leave or be removed if you don't.
Basic Guild Rules:
(1). Respect guildies and non guildies.
No abusing accusing and or threatening members, or any other players on the server. This gives the Guild, and yourself, a very bad name.
If someone has been involved in an incident all members involved are requested to speak to GM/Officer.In this case all will be investigated and the appropriate actions can be taken. News travels fast… especially BAD news.
(2). Basic rules in Instances and on General Chat such as within Stormwind etc.
Avoid yelling or swearing in a disturbing matter - report incorrect behavior through a GM ticket to the in-game GM's.
Do NOT attend an Instance if you are not sure you can finish the run. This causes delays and group loses.
NEVER loot when not everyone is resurrected. This can be considered as ninja looting if not done properly.
(3). No begging or asking for gold/silver/copper.
There is nothing more annoying in the game it seems than people asking for gold.
Check guild vault to see if there is anything that could benefit your character. If nothing else we can show you how to farm mats etc for profit.
(4). No heavy trade in the guild chat to guildies.
Avoid selling items to fellow guildies, giving or trading is much nicer (Unless it is epic item of course.)
BUT do NOT rip a guildie off.
(5). Treat the game and guild members and any other players exactly how you also like to be treated. (What you give is what you get.)
(6). Make your characters clear within the Guild.
Every member is requested to have a Officer + add professions and alts to your guild note if you are not able to.
(7). Once you are level 60+ get ready to run some high level instances.
Make sure you have the proper gear and weapon(s). Also have vent installed and configured. It will make running a instance/raid more enjoyable.
All events are listed in Group Calendar for all levels.
(8). Finish what you have started.
When organizing an Event / Run / Raid that you have decided to start, please be sure to also finish it. Remember that we use the group Calendar for the organization of all group based events.
(9). Discrimination and causing Offense.
Discussions that may discriminate or cause offense on the grounds of his or her sex, disability, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or belief will not be tolerated. Anything that you say that may cause offense may lead to you being removed from the Guild and possibly face a permanent ban not only from the Guild but also the Game. Please be careful what you write!
(10): If you decide to LEAVE THE GUILD,you will not be allowed to come back unless you speak to a Gm/Officer in private chat or by post to discuss your situation.People leaving and coming back all of the time is not good for the guild overall. If you quit with no explanation, do not even bother asking to come back.If you cannot take the time to talk or mail us beforehand, you will not have the option after you're no longer a guild member.
(11): Do not beg for runs. If you want a run, you may ask for a run in guild chat. If someone wants to run you, they will say so. If you don't get a run right when you ask for one, you will need to either try and form a party to do the instance you want (either with guildies or non-guildies) or ask again later. Do not whisper high level players and ask for runs. This is rude.
(12): Do not spam any channel for any reason. This includes all chat channels, not just guild chat.
We feel that these rules are basic common sense. We want THE SACRED ORDER to feel like home for everyone. Thank you for helping to make THE SACRED ORDER a great guild to be a part of. :)
